Hey everyone! This post is all about Tarte's Cashmere Waterproof Gliding Liner. I got these in a Christmas set from QVC last year and am still using and loving them this year! I have 4 shades: Orchid, Black, Black Brown, and Bronze.

As I've mentioned before, these liners were a part of a QVC gift set so they were very affordable (usually retails for $20 a pop but the entire set was $65 and included 4 liners, 20 shadows, and 4 lip glosses!). These are retractable pencil liners, which is very convenient. Like their name, these pencils glide on without skipping and are very pigmented. You can smudge these out for a more diffused line, which is my preferred look. Once they set, they do stay very well, with primer. I never use eyeliner on my bare lids because I have oily eyelids. I haven't tested these without primer.Dislikes:
You cannot swivel them back down so only twist up as much as you need. They are long lasting but at the end of the day, I do notice a bit of transferring, especially with the Black and Orchid. On the upper tightline, they transfer onto my lower waterline and look messy. I might have to try using less or set with a powder and see if that helps with lasting power. On my waterline, they don't perform much better but I do have very watery eyes. Another pet peeve of mine is that the name of the color isn't on the pencil itself so I don't know/remember what each shade is called. I wish it came with its own sharpener because the tip gets dull so quickly (the pencil is so soft) but it isn't difficult to make a thin line even when the tip is dull--I just have to be more careful. I'm a little sad that these pencils are no longer part of Tarte's usual inventory but many eBay sellers have them. From left to right: Orchid, Black, Black Brown, and Bronze |

Bottom Line:
I wouldn't buy them again--maybe except for Orchid and Bronze because these colors are harder to find. Even though Black and Black Brown are awesome liners, I feel that drugstore options are just as good for a fraction of the price. So that's it for this post! I hope you enjoyed. I'm sorry that this is a bit late but finals are rapidly approaching and I'm working on my essays. Hopefully, tomorrow's post will go up on time >.<

- I'm sad that Heirs has ended! I haven't watched the last two episodes yet but I'll miss seeing Minhyuk and Kim Woo Bin every week. Looking forward to their next projects!
- I still need to find a Christmas present for my roommate! I'm thinking of getting her a scarf to match the texting gloves I got her--here's to hoping they fit! >.<
- Doing all these eyeliner posts makes me want to use eyeliner again, but I feel like I'm more of a shadow and mascara person now. Before, I would only wear eyeliner and maybe mascara but now it's so different! How has your makeup routine changed over the years?
