REVIEW | Etude House Sweet Recipe Chocolate Smudge Liner✎

Continuing with the eyeliner series, I have Etude House's Sweet Recipe Chocolate Smudge Liner here today! I got them when they first released and am ready to share my thoughts on these liners with you today. :)

These were my first Korean eyeliners and I was expecting a lot since the Kpop idols always have nice looking liner looks! Krystal and Sulli from f(x) modelled these liners and that just made me want them more. In their original packaging, they looked like the most delicious truffles--Korean makeup has such lovely packaging. ♡

These were pretty cheap ($5 USD) and come in two shades: 01 Dark Choco Brown and 02 Milk Choco Brown. These are very creamy and glide on easily. The packaging is super cute but I think that it isn't airtight so it does dry out. I usually revive them with some isopropyl alcohol and that didn't affect the formula or staying power nor did it irritate my eyes.

They didn't smudge on me once set. They do transfer onto my upper eyelid by the end of the day but that happens with any eyeliner I use.  You do have to give them time to set and don't blink too much while you are waiting for them to set because they will transfer slightly. They don't last very well on my upper tightline or waterline but that's okay.

01 Dark Choco Brown is a dark brown. It's great if you want definition but don't want to go with a bold black color. I find that it is still pretty natural looking.

02 Milk Choco Brown is a medium brown. I love this for my none to little makeup days because it doesn't look harsh when I'm not wearing much makeup. It's also great if you want to use it as an eyeshadow base.

These were limited edition but you can find them on eBay. If you live in Korea, you might be able to find these still. I'll be very sad when these run out because I really like how cheap but long-lasting they are.

So that's it for today's post! I hope you found it helpful. Check back this Monday for another post from me! :)
