I've never tried very many Covergirl products because I got a single eyeshadow from them and was very disappointed by the pigmentation. Ever since then, I shied away from them, preferring Loreal and Revlon. However, the Exact Eyelights Brightening Liner caught my attention since the navy blue was the shade I was looking for. The concept is that each shade is color coordinated to bring out the color of your eyes, whether they are brown, blue, green or hazel. This line also came with other matching products such as mascara and eyeshadow but I never got around to trying those out.

I love how dark it is. It is almost black which is great because it doesn't stand out too much. It is long lasting and sets very quickly. On my oily eyelids, I can go about 4-6 hours (depending on how active I am/hot the day is) before I see some smudging under my lower lash line. It transfers to my top lid at the end of the day, which is about 12 hours for me. Once set, rubbing my swatch does fade it a little but I'm rubbing pretty hard. It's also pretty water resistant. Lightly splashing it or running it under water doesn't make it run but rubbing it while under water or wet does make it smudge a little. This liner also comes with a sharpener at the end of the pencil for convenient sharpening.Dislikes:
Now I'm not sure if it's because I've had it for a while, but the pencil is pretty hard. I have to press pretty firmly for color to deposit on my hand, which is not good for the eye area. My cap did crack a little so that might have caused the pencil to dry out.Bottom Line:
I would repurchase this because I remember liking and using it quite a bit back then but sadly, it has been discontinued. If you want to find yours, you can find it on Amazon^.Mwah Musings ♥
- I'm starting to notice that a lot of the products I rediscover are discontinued. This is a very sad fact as my pencil broke into two pieces and promptly fell out of the tube, rendering the entire pencil useless. Gah.
- When my sister did finally show up, she took me to this ramen house and the food was surprisingly good. A little salty, but still delicious. Especially the beef enoki thingie she ordered.
- I'm starting to catch up on my posts! Just a couple more and I'll be good. Woot!
XOXO,
