REVIEW | Stila Smudge Crayons

Hello! I bet y'all can guess what this post is--eyeliner! Today, I have Stila's Smudge Crayons, which come in a variety of 9 shades, ranging from light pink and cult-favorite Kitten to dark blue and black.

REVIEW | Stila Smudge Crayons

I'm really into dark eye looks for the colder months and these crayons from Stila are perfect as a primer, liner or eyeshadows. They are smooth and creamy, gliding onto the eyes beautifully. I have three of them: Black, Smoke, and Umber. These set quickly and stay put throughout the day. They come in a variety of finishes: matte, shimmer, and metallic. They have a sharpener at the bottom to sharpen the tip if they get dull after use, which is a nice touch.

Black is a great matte black. It's really pigmented. This was a little hard to remove with eye makeup remover but it wasn't impossible.

Smoke is a shimmery medium champagne color. This is a great product if you only want to use one color all over! It's light enough to put all over but dark enough to define your eyes if needed. This came off the easiest with eye makeup remover.

Umber is a dark coppery brown color. It has a slightly metallic finish and is on the warmer side. I think this is a great color for blue eyes because it will make them pop! I have to be a bit careful with this as it makes my eyes look sickly if I use it all over my eyelids without any other shadow. I think this is a unique color to have in your collection.

Bottom Line:

I would repurchase Smoke for sure! Black isn't anything special and the larger tip may make it harder to use as a liner. Umber is pretty but it isn't as flattering on my skin tone/eye color. I am definitely looking forward to adding Kitten, Rose, and Antique to my collection though. XD

You can find them on Stila, which is having a sale right now--$6 each instead of the usual $22. If you want the trial size, click hereSephora has a shade called Dazzle that cannot be found on the Stila page but Stila has the shade Rose that isn't available on Sephora. All other shades can be found on both websites.
