TIPS| 5 Ways to Use a Too Light Foundation❀

Buying foundations is such a tricky business, especially when you're buying online or from the drugstore. Sometimes, you end up with a shade of foundation that is too light. No one wants to look like Ghost Face! This happened to me recently. ಥ_ಥ I bought some Holika Holika BB creams that were too light for me >.< So what can you do? Instead of throwing it away or leaving it to collect dust in the back of your makeup drawer, try out these tips!

[Tips] 5 Ways to Use a Too Light Foundation❀

1. Highlighter. If it's more than a couple of shades too light, you can use it in the middle of your face to give you a highlighted look or on any areas that you would normally highlight, like the tops of your cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose, your chin, and center of your forehead.

2. Tinted moisturizer. You can mix the BB cream or foundation into your moisturizer or lotion to sheer it out so that it doesn't look too obvious that it's a couple of shades too light.

3. Powder. Adding a powder foundation on top of the BB cream or foundation can also adjust the shade of the BB cream or foundation so that it blends into your skintone. Blending it down your neck is also crucial!

4. Bronzer. Adding a darker shade on the perimeter of your face, like your temples, across your forehead, under your chin, under your cheekbones, and along the sides of your nose can help the too light BB cream or foundation blend in as well!

5. Mix! If none of those tips above worked for you, try mixing it with a foundation that is darker to help it match your skintone.

So that's all the tips I have! If you know of any others, please comment down below to share the knowledge. I'll see y'all with another post on Monday. Have a safe weekend!(✿◠‿◠)
