So as many of you know, I have a combination skin type with an oily T-zone but normal cheeks. I prefer using blotting papers for touch ups instead of powder. This will help prevent the infamous cake face since I need to get rid of the shine a couple times a day. I usually blot my face 2 or 3 times a day, depending on how hot or active I am that day but with this paper, I'm good with just one blot! Lately, I've been using Palladio's Rice Paper Oil-Absorbing Blotting Tissues with Rice Powder. This is truly amazing!
Palladio's Rice Paper comes with 40 super size sheets. This is really the biggest sheet I've ever seen and with one sheet, I can blot my entire face! Rice powder is really good at absorbing oil and it really is the best! With other sheets, I've had to use 2 or 3 to completely blot my face (it's really bad, I know >.<) This really does give me a matte appearance without looking completely flat. I find that it makes my pores look less obvious as well. It comes in three different shades: Translucent, Warm Beige, and Natural. I currently use Translucent and it's great for those days when I'm not wearing any makeup as it doesn't give me an odd color.
It's also interesting because one side of the sheet has powder on it and the other side is just a regular sheet. I like to use the side with the powder because the main reason I bought it is because of that powder...but I'll try the side without the powder to see if it is still as effective. The sheet is made of paper so be careful when you take out a sheet (I've ripped a couple causing the powder to fall all over my pants T_T) The packaging is also really cute and compact, great for throwing in your purse or backpack. I find that when I don't ay attention to how I close the package, it bends the sheet inside so make sure the sheet is lying flat when you close it!

I've also tried the Oil Absorbing Rice Powder, which is in loose form and it is great for setting foundation and giving you a matte appearance. Since it is in loose form, it does get a bit messy but I just tap my brush in lightly, swirl it around in the cap to evenly distribute the product, and powder my face. A little goes a very long way! The packaging is cute and similar to the design on the Rice Papers, but it is, and I repeat, NOT travel-friendly. The top is not securely stuck on the container, so if you drop it, the lid WILL come off and spill everywhere! I highly recommend getting the Rice Papers for on-the-go touch ups. I haven't had that problem but I see it as a potential danger in this product. The container is a sturdy plastic with little holes to prevent the entire contents from spilling. They also include a powder puff but I prefer a brush for a lighter application. Again, this comes in three shades: Translucent, Warm Beige, and Natural. I have the powder in Natural and it is a good match for me. I find that it doesn't really give much coverage but I think it will if you use a puff. It has a scent that reminds me of baby powder ≧ω≦

I really love this product because I prefer a matte finish and it keeps my face matte for a good 4 hours, in which I touch up with the Rice Papers. So far, it's the only powder I've tried that keeps me truly matte. It does not give an unnatural appearance if you apply with a light hand.
Overall, I think these products are amazing and at such an affordable price, I think everyone who has an oily complexion should try it out! Right now, Ulta is having a buy one get one free offer on select Palladio products so right now is a perfect time to give them a try! The link to the loose powder here and the rice paper here; the sale is only valid until September 28, so act fast! ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿
