So I've been doing some online shopping again--which I tend to do when I'm stressed out by schoolwork >.< But, I have a ton of goodies for y'all to see :)

NYX Mosaic Powder Blush in 10 Love |

I love orange blushes all year round because it helps brighten my face :) This
Mosaic Blush is super pretty! There are small gold flecks in it but it doesn't show up on my face--it gives me more of a glowy look. The little sections aren't big enough to fit your brush in individually but you can try to get more of one side if your brush is small enough. O_o It is very pigmented and I need a couple of light dabs to get a nice color on my cheeks :)

I've recently become a huge fan of eyeshadow sticks for their convenience. No need for brushes or anything! These
NYC Glam Shadow Sticks are on the gllittery side. The are smaller than the popular Jumbo Eye Pencils and they are twist up, which is nice because it's hard to find a pencil sharpener large enough for these pencils. A full-review will be coming soon!

These
Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquers are my favorite lip products of the moment! They are all that I've been using these past few weeks--other than lip balm. They are very pigmented and are not drying at all! I have a full review on them
here if you are interested in learning more about these.

From left to right: Eclos Anti-Aging Instant Radiance Facial Scrub, The Body Shop Seaweed Purifying Toner, and The Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion SPF 15 |
I got a sample of the
Eclos Scrub in a bag from Ulta and I loved it so much! It has small beads that warms up as you continue to rub it on your face. It tastes salty (not that I tried it O_O) and it is really great at evening my skin texture. I use it every other day for a week and then cut it down to two times a week once my skin got smoother.
The
Body Shop was having a sale in stores. I spun a wheel and got 40% my entire purchase, which I took advantage of (it's also offered online as well as other great deals!). There's better deals in store but I know that not everyone is near a The Body Shop. The Seaweed line is great for combination skin so I picked up the
Seaweed Purifying Toner and the Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion SPF 15 since these are the products that I need to replenish my skin care products. I haven't tried them out yet but once I do, expect a review on them. :)
*Update 09/15/14*: I have a review on the
Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion SPF 15. I've used up a small size of the
Seaweed Purifying Toner and found it so-so. It isn't drying like the previous toner I was using. This toner also removes makeup residue that my cleansing oil + cleanser didn't completely get AND removes the sunscreen from my neck; for that, this toner does a good job. However, I'm using an exfoliating toner at the moment and it gets the residue off while giving me a light exfoliation at the same time. It works as advertised and comes with a nice, light scent but I'm looking into products that can do more than smell good and remove residue.

YES TO CARROTS REPAIRING NIGHT CREAM |
I've been running out of the usual night cream and so decided to pick up the
Yes to Carrots Repairing Night Cream at Walgreens. I've been trying to be smarter about what I put on my face and reading product labels.
Veronica Gorgeois on Youtube has really been very informative in helping me pick better products for my skin. This one is marketed at normal to dry skin but I wanted to give it a try since my T-Zone gets dehydrated (but still oily!) in the colder months. It kinda smells like baby powder to me, which is off-putting, but I'll get over it...
|
YES TO TOMATOES DAILY BALANCING MOISTURIZER |
I also picked up the
Yes to Tomatoes Daily Balancing Moisturizer because it is marketed for oily skin. However, I find it very good as a lightweight moisturizer for nighttime or under makeup since it absorbs quickly. It doesn't have SPF so I usually use it at night or when I'm not going outside or sitting near a window. It does have a scent that I can't really place but it isn't bothersome. One pump is enough for my entire face and neck.

Yes to Tomatoes Volumizing Conditioner |
Lastly, I picked up the
Yes to Tomatoes Volumizing Conditioner. I never liked using conditioners because it would weigh my hair down and make it look oily before the end of the day. I recently decided to include conditioner in my hair care regimen because my hair is longer than it's ever been before. My scalp is on the oily side but my ends are getting really dry and the split ends are getting really noticeable. I've been using it for the past two weeks and I haven't really noticed anything but here's to hoping for it to work! *Update:04/29/14*: I have a review on the
Yes to Tomatoes Volumizing Conditioner right here if you want to know more.
I've been meaning to put this up for weeks now and here it is! I have more things coming in the mail so that will be coming up next! If you have any questions about any of these products, let me know! I'm sorry that I didn't post on on Friday so I'll be making that up by posting another one later today!
XOXO,
MWAH ♡
