FOTD | Back to School Look using the Lorac Unzipped Palette

Hey everyone! I know school has started for many of you already but I just completed my first day so this post isn't too late. If anything, it could be quick go-to look when you're running short on time. More after the jump!

Back to School Look using the Lorac Unzipped Palette
An overview of most of the products and brushes used (except for lip products)

Back to School Look using the Lorac Unzipped Palette

Starting with a freshly moisturized face, I used an oil control primer to help keep my oil at bay. I am currently using Anthony Logistics for Men Instant Fix Oil Control.

Next, I moved onto priming my eyes with the included Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer. Using the Unzipped Palette, I applied Unbelievable (a shimmery rose gold) all over my eyelid, blending it slightly into the crease. I usually stop there but for today, I applied Unspoken (a matte medium brown) into the outer corners and a third of the way into the crease.

To complete the look, I applied one coat of waterproof mascara (Maybelline's One by One mascara) and one coat of a lengthening mascara (Benefit's They're Real!). I also filled in my brows with a brow pencil (Revlon's Brow Fantasy in Dark Brown).

For my face makeup, I applied concealer on all my post-acne hyper pigmentation marks (a combination of Loreal's TruMatch Super Blendable Concealer in shade N4-5 and Maybelline's Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Concealer in shade Ivory)^. The Maybelline Concealer has been discontinued in the US but you can find it abroad or online. To correct my dark circles, I applied Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Concealer in shade Medium under my eyes, blending outward.

For the lips, I applied one layer Lioele's L'cret Miracle Magic Lipstick in shade 01, topping off with Ulta's Lip Balm in shade Sweet.

So that's it for this post! I know it was really quick and the photos weren't all that great but I hope you got the gist of it. I'm probably going to do another one using this palette (or maybe the Naked 3) for a Valentine's Day post. ;) Anyhoo, if you've started school, good luck!

MWAH Musings ♥

  • I think some products that I've been using are causing me to break out. I see a bunch of little bumps underneath my skin. Waaahhh!
  • I've been making banana, blackberry, and orange juice smoothies. So delicious!
  • There's this really cool set of beauty blenders on Sephora and I'm dying to pick them up...holding myself off until I buy my textbooks lol.
