REVIEW| Yes to Tomatoes Volumizing Conditioner

My hair was going through a rough patch this winter as it was unseasonably cold and dry where I live and I was going crazy trying to figure out how to keep it hydrated since I didn't want to cut it (ended cutting it anyway but that's not important). Cue the Yes to Tomatoes Volumizing Conditioner!

REVIEW | Benefit Primping with the Stars

So this one is going to be quick and short (hopefully) as I've been writing a ton for my other posts. I still have a couple of posts I need to catch up on, dealing with hair and how I manage mine, but I just wanted to take a break and go back to my first love: makeup. Benefit is one of my favorite makeup brands ever and I love the kits they do as you get to try out a lot of their most popular products for a reasonable price. The Primping with the Stars kit comes in an adorable packaging with 6 deluxe size products for your face, eyes, and lips.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS | Lancome Dream Tone Dark Spot Corrector in 2

When Lancome released its new skincare line, the beauty world went abuzz. I was especially intrigued by the Dreamtone line because I have a lot of hyperpigmentation spots from post-acne marks that I'd like to get rid of. There are 3 formulas, targeted at the skin problems that different skintones battle with the most: 1 (fair), 2 (medium) , and 3 (dark). I got mine in 2.

FOTD | ✿ Jun Ji Hyun Inspired Spring '14 Makeup ✿

Jun Ji Hyun Inspired Spring '14 Makeup
I'm slowly catching up with my posts >.< I just had a midterm and now I have a paper due next Monday so it's taking me a while but I'll get there! I've never heard of Jun Ji Hyun before but after watching You Who Came From the Stars, I've completely become a big fan of hers and cannot wait to see what project she'll come up with next! Now, I do not claim to look like her but I love how her makeup was fresh looking, with the dewy skin as well as on trend, with the pop of orange on her lids, strong orange cheeks, understated orange lips and a bit of contouring. Like the title says, I'm going to show you how to get a fresh, on-trend Spring look without going overboard.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS | The Face Shop The Smim 3D Radiating Moisturizing Solution Ampoule

This past winter, my skin was beyond dry. It was so confusing for me because I have combination to oily skin. I had no idea how to help it retain its moisture, thinking that if I slathered on a thick cream, I'd be helping my skin. Doing that didn't help out my skin much and felt really heavy and uncomfortable. Layering my skincare would be much more helpful than slathering on one product.

Since I was at my parent's house for the break, I didn't have access to my usual products. I had a bunch of samples that I was accumulating at home so I decided to look in that stash for a solution. Long story short, The Face Shop The Smim 3D Radiating Moisturizing Solution Ampoule* (super long name) was something that I was hoping would help.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS | Clinique Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector

Ever despair of finding the perfect product to cover up those pesky under eye circles? I know I do. I don't have the worst under eye circles ever but on days I don't get much sleep (midterm season--ahh!), they get a bit more pronounced. I also get allergies in the Spring and that makes my undereye area look a bit bruised. I got a sample of the Clinique Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector*, tried it out for a week and now I can tell you what I think about this product down below!

REVIEW| It's Skin Cleansing Oil in Brightening

Cleansing oils have barely started gaining traction in the US but they have been very popular in Asia, especially the famous Shu Uemura Cleansing Oils. I decided to try the It's Skin Cleansing Oil in Brightening, which is a budget-friendlier version than the Shu Uemura. There's 3 formulas, each designed for a specific skin type: oily, combination, and dry. Brightening is the one recommended for combination skin. Read on to see how I feel about this cleansing oil!
