BLOGMAS | Day 11: Kat Von D Metal Matte Palette Makeup Inspiration

It's New Year's eve as I'm writing this post! It's been raining the past several days so I'm hoping it'll stop in time for New Year's Day. I was planning to have this up before then so y'all could draw inspiration from this for your New Year's eve looks but I've been running errands, trying to get everything done before I start school in a week. Anyhoo, I also planned on doing a review on the Kat Von D Metal Matte Palette but since it was limited edition and sold out like hotcakes, I never got around to doing it. But I had all these looks planned out and wanted to share them with y'all anyway, so I hope you don't mind.

HAUL | Colourpop X Hello Kitty

Growing up, my sister was a huge fan of Pochacco. She had all the stationary and plushies but the one that kept my attention was Hello Kitty. I had hair clips and pencils with her splashed all over. When I was in high school, one of my closest friends was also a fan, cementing our almost decade-long friendship. So when I got wind about this collection, I marked my calendars and patiently waiting for the day this collection would drop. Instead of going wild and picking up one of everything, I picked up the Mama's Apple Pie quad, one Ultra Satin Lip in Tiny Chum and one Lippie Stix in Konnichiwa.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS | Innisfree Summer 2015 Limited Edition Liquid Glow Shadow

As I'm sure most of y'all know by now, I'm a huge fan of liquid eyeshadows. I love how most don't require a lot of prep to look good. Shimmery shadows are my favorite kind but most powder versions irritate my sensitive eyes. Cream and liquid shadows are a nice alternative for sensitive shimmer eyeshadow fans like me! Anyhoo, Innisfree released 5 shades of the Liquid Glow Shadow in their Summer 2015 Collection. I have #01 Sandy Beach and #04 Green Sea here to review today. Let's see how well they perform!

REVIEW | Innisfree Summer 2015 Limited Edition Auto Pencil Liners

Summer is officially over in the Northern Hemisphere but with temperatures in the 90's, it doesn't feel like it. This review is overdue but as the products are still available online at several retailers, I thought it would be okay to still post it. Innisfree is one of my favorite brands due to their idyllic, bucolic branding. I picked up two cushions, three liners, and two shadows. In addition, there were also nail polishes and skincare items but I have enough of those to last several lifetimes. Anyhoo, let's get on with the review!

Hey everyone! I'm doing a whole series dedicated to eyeliners for the month of December since it's one of my favorite products! I don't use it as much as I used to but doing this series is really making me start using them again! This post is dedicated to Tarte's emphasEYES Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liners. ♥

I have two of these in shades Shimmering Black Night and Shimmering Rich Chocolate. These are super creamy liners with great pigmentations and sparkle.The added sparkle is a great twist on the basic black and brown liners. The sparkles are multicolor and give your eyes a great sparkle for the holiday parties!

RE-DISCOVERY| Tarte Eye Couture Day-to-Night Eye Palette

So today's post is all about Tarte's Eye Couture Day-to-Night Eye Palette**! It first debuted during the holidays a couple of years ago. The palette contains 10 eyeshadows. It is beautifully packaged in Tarte's signature purple. The packaging resembles a quilted clutch with a lock and a key charms on the snap button closure. It doesn't stand up by itself, as can be seen in the next picture (I hold up the mirror with my hand) but it is travel-friendly. None of the eyeshadows have fallen out or cracked. It has a large mirror (5.5 in by 2.5 in) and includes a dual-ended easy crease eyeshadow brush and all-over eyeshadow brush, a dual-ended bronze eyeliner and charcoal eyeliner (not pictured), and four step by step instructions for different day and night looks.

"Re-Discovery" is, like the name implies, about finding things in my makeup collection that have been collecting dust for a while! It was so exciting going through it today to find the hidden gems of my collection. Getting new things is very exciting but sometimes, you already have a palette or item that performs wonderfully or even better! I forget why I put it away in the first place O﹏o I try to rotate palettes and stuff so that it all gets used, but sometimes, I get stuck on one item and forget about all the others (︺︹︺)
