I went on a bit of a Meme Box binge because I'm a sucker for Korean products. This time, I decided to give the Lucky Box a chance. The items are from Luckybox #3.
--AT A GLANCE--
Luckybox is one of three types offered by Memebox. Consisting of popular items from previous Memeboxes, there are full and deluxe sized products. Luckybox #3 contains popular products from Memeboxes #2 - 8, so if you missed any of those boxes, you can get a little bit of a taste from this Luckybox!
This Box contains skincare products, 3 full-sized and 6 deluxe-sized.

--THE BREAKDOWN--
The Miguhara BP Cream serves as both a BB cream as well as a primer. It keeps skin silky, even-toned, and oil free. Apply over any areas that have large pores or is prone to excessive oil. This dual-purpose cream was featured in Memebox 2. This box contains 2 mini tubes of 3 ml for a total of 6 ml ($7.40 USD). The full size is $37 USD for 30 ml ($37 USD for 1 oz).
The Holika Holika Skin & Good Cera Super Cream not only hydrates the skin but also enhances the water-holding capacity of the skin thanks to the ceramide included. This multi-purpose cream, first seen in Memebox 2, can be used on your face or dry areas on your body. Pat your face lightly to increase absorption. You get 10 ml ($2.74 USD) in this sample. The full size retails for $19 USD for 60 ml/2 oz ($8 USD for 1 oz/30 ml). **Updated with review**
Part of Memebox 2, the Ryeo Jayang Yunmo Anti-Hairloss Hair Pack will inhibit the hair loss with the help of herbal extracts. The herbal extracts will keep both your scalp and hair healthy and hydrated without being oily. Gently massage onto hair and scalp after shampoo. After 2-3 minutes, wash off thoroughly. You get 100 ml/3.4 oz ($5.44 USD) in this sample. The full size will set you back $16 USD for 300 ml/10 oz ($1.60 USD for 1 oz).
Looking for an eye cream? The Dr. Jart V7 Eye Serum, featured in Memebox 3, contains 7 vitamins-- A, B3, B5, C, E, H, and F--to brighten and reduce dark circles. This serum will cost you $38 USD for 15 ml/0.51 oz ($76 USD for 1 oz).
First revealed in Memebox 4, the Lanoa Natural Soap Sulfur is handmade form natural ingredients such as 100% natural sulfur, shea butter, chamomile and lavender. Specially designed for sensitive and dry skin, it deeply nourishes, hydrates and protects skin. Free of sulfactants, hardeners, preservatives, and artifical ingredients, this is the sensitive skin's dream cleanser. For sensitive skin, do not massage for over 20 seconds. This soap costs $12 USD for 100g/3.53 oz ($3.40 USD for 1 oz).
Derma:B Daily Moisture Body Lotion ($2.86 USD for 100ml/3.38 oz), featured in Memebox #5, claims to provide 24-hour hydration, leaving skin feeling both softer and smoother. Phytoncide calms irritated skin. Best applied after a bath or shower. A full size of this will set you back $16 USD for 400 ml/13.53 oz ($1.18 USD for 1 oz).
Flower Men Energy Factory Moist Boosting Sheet Mask--hyaluronic Acid (long-a$$ name >.>) is a super moist mask sheet that contains concentrated hyaluronic acid, first seen in Memebox #8. After toner, place the mask sheet over your face. Remove sheet after 15-20 minutes. Apparently, it's as big as PSY's face (of Gangnam Style and Gentleman fame). Each mask (you get two in this kit) contains 25g/0.88 oz for $4 USD ($4.55 USD for 1 oz).
Lastly, we have the HeartFace Ultra Pore Care Sleeping Pack (20 ml at $10.15 USD). This sleeping pack keeps skin moisturized all night long. It also minimizes your pores and controls sebum production while you snooze. =^.^= Apply all over skin before bed--don't rinse! The full size retails for $49 USD and contains 100 ml/3.38 oz ($14.50 USD for 1 oz).
--THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS--
So far, I haven't really tried these products out so I'm just going off of swatching and feel. The focus of this box seems to be skincare, and as I haven't really delved into Korean skin care other than the occasional cleansing oil or sample, so I'm excited to try these items out. My skin is going through another rough patch right now but I'll just try these anyway--in the name of blogging!
The Miguhara BP Cream seems like it would be a good primer. It brightens skin and covers minor things. There's a mattifying effect, which is perfect for the upcoming heat (even though it was drizzling today). It has a nice, light floral scent. The bad would be that there's mostly air in these tubes so I don't think I could get more than 10 uses or so--hopefully, that's enough to tell whether or not I'll like this.
The Dr's Care Vita Propolis Ampoule sounds really interesting and feels really moisturizing. It sank in quite quickly as well. Really interested to see how it fares on my skin and compares to the Josie Maran Argan Oil or Tarte Maracuja Oil in terms of hydration and feel.
The Derma:B body lotion feels really light and doesn't have a strong scent at all. I can smell something but it isn't overpowering or lingering. I don't know about the 24-hour claim as that's quite a big boast but I'll test it on this patch of skin that's perpetually dry and itchy to see how it fares.
The HeartFace Sleeping Pack sounds really intriguing because I have large pores that get even more noticeable as the weather warms and oil production ramps up. I've tried a sleeping mask by Lioele before and really liked it so I'm looking forward to trying this one out. It is a bit thicker than the Lioele one but sinks in quite quickly without leaving a greasy feeling.
I'm not really thrilled about the hair pack or the sulfur soap as they have a really strong oriental herb smell that just reminds me of sad days being sick and being forced to drink some herbal medicine that supposedly will make me feel better--not. Still going to try it out because they may work wonders but as I'm not suffering from hair loss (thankfully), I'm not sure what I'll see from that.
Haven't tried the Holika Holika Cream or the Dr. Jart Eye Serum so I don't really have an opinion on these.
The PSY face mask made me LOL out loud when I saw it. Needless to say, it's the product I'm most happy and excited to try out. Haven't ever tried a face mask before (Even though I have a couple samples but can't find them right now) but it's an honor to have PSY's face (mask) on mine.≧◡≦
--BOTTOM LINE--
Adding up the value of each item included in the box, it's an awesome deal at $95.26 USD, considering I bought this for $23 USD plus shipping. 7 out of 9 hits isn't bad at all. You get 3 full sized products (Dr. Jart eye serum, Lanoa Sulfur Soap, and PSY face masks) and the deluxe samples are pretty generous as well. Unfortunately, Luckybox #3 is sold out, but you can still get Luckybox 5. Check here for previous and future releases.
MWAH Musings ♡
- Spent 3 hours looking for Pokemon--and ended up with just Psyduck. Had a headache from the long walk and search lol.
- Getting into One Direction. They aren't EXO but I like their songs "Same Mistakes" and "Story of my Life".
- Almost 3AM, should really be getting into bed...
XOXO,
MWAH ♡
