I'm not much of bronzer person but I was really interested in trying out the Too Faced Bonjour Soleil Bronzing Wardrobe because it contains 3 of the brand's most popular bronzers. Let me just tell you, I've been contouring and bronzing nonstop! Each bronzer is pigmented yet easy to blend. The variety of finishes allows for a multitude of looks. I won't go on much more since I have a full review of them on the blog but this is a definite must for the bronzer babes out there and the bronzer newbies as well! I've been using my Lorac Pro Palette a ton since I got it a couple months ago. Amidst all the raves from beauty bloggers and Youtubers, I didn't think I needed it. However, Claire Marshall from heyclaire is the one that gave me the final push and I haven't looked back. The pigmentation is crazy, it's super blendable, and the colors are great for everyday! At first glance, it looks like a boring palette but neutrals tickle my fancy very, very much. There's an even number of mattes and shimmers, which you don't find in very many palettes. The shimmers aren't so shimmery that it looks gaudy, you can definitely wear them during the day for those of you who work in a bit of a conservative environment. The look below has been my go-to eye look when I have a bit of time to work on my eyes.

So this one is a re-discovery for me. The Stila Perfect & Correct Foundation was a favorite when I first got it a couple months ago. It's been shoved to the back as I got new foundations to try but I pulled it out recently to use again, My skin has been acting up quite badly lately and wearing a heavier foundation and concealer was out of the question as I rather let my skin breathe. However, I wanted to even my skin tone without having a ton of foundation on my face and this did the job perfectly. It covered my pores and reduced the appearance of acne marks and redness in my face to a level I was comfortable with. It didn't cover my pimples but it made the redness less obvious, which is the most I can hope for right now. My skin is slowly healing itself so I didn't want something heavy to go on top and mess it up. I really appreciate how lightweight this foundation is considering the condition my skin is in right now. I still don't know if I will buy the full size but it's quite lovely for my troublesome skin right now. REVIEW

I have fine hair that gets oily like nobody's business so dry shampoo is a lifesaver for me. The Batiste Dry Shampoo in Cherry smells great and works the best for my hair. I've tried other scents from Batiste and so far, my favorites scent is Paisley. Cherry smells like a synthetic cherry scent, kind of like the Cherry Icees but I quite like it (not as much as Paisley, but this scent is good too). The packaging is always so cute and on point. Each bottle lasts for about 3 months with every other day use, which isn't too bad. The only thing I don't like is that the scent is quite strong and overpowering but that just means I don't have to apply a separate fragrance! The Clinique Acne Solutions Spot Healing Gel* really helped save my skin this time around. I usually get hormonal acne (also when I don't follow a strict skin care regimen) so there's not much I can do other than keep my skin as clean as possible. However, this month's acne has been particularly bad across my chin--it's even on my cheeks and I normally don't get acne there. I know it's not my diet because I've eliminated fast food, beef, pork, sugary drinks, sugary snacks (for the most part), and oily foods from my diet while eating more vegetables and fruits. Coming back to my main point, this spot treatment really helps me with my minor blemishes. Sometimes, they come to a head in the morning so I apply the spot treatment and then by nighttime, it's completely dried out. I apply the spot treatment again that night and by the next morning, the blemish falls off. It dries quickly so I can move on to the next steps of my skincare routine. The only thing is that it dries out my skin if I use it too often on the same spots on consecutive days so I only use it for three days and 3 nights at most. Another thing is that it only works for the pimples that have come to a head (pustules) and not papules (ones that are stuck under the surface and can take weeks to come to a head) which is the kind I get often. Not very many things work for acne so I'm glad that this one works for my minor pimples (the ones that come to a head quickly and aren't massive in size). PRODUCT SMACKDOWN
Lately, I've been painting the e.l.f. essentials nail polish in Mint Cream on my nails constantly! This is the second time this month that this polish has been on my nails, which never happens as I like to switch up the colors often. Robin's egg blue, teal, blue green, and mint are some of my favorite shades of blue and green. I don't know what it is about that color but I have it everywhere: my laptop case, my keyboard cover, my phone case, my wallet, my shoes, my sweater, and more! Going back to the nail polish, (boy, I'm going off tangent more often than usually today...) it's the perfect shade of minty blue--kind of like Tiffany blue. e.l.f. polishes in general dry very quickly and are usually opaque in 1-2 coats (though I've come across an e.l.f. nail polish, Dazzle Diva, that doesn't perform like the other ones I have). This one is no exception and looks quite pretty for Spring--even though I wear this shade year round, to be honest. I have quite a few bottles in this shade yet this one is my favorite because of the aforementioned reasons. If you don't want to buy this one, Wet N Wild's I Need a Refreshmint is quite similar. MWAH Musings ♥
- Not sure if I mentioned this before but I finished watching Medical Top Team (Korean Drama) a while ago. While I enjoyed it, I think it was a bit repetitive with all the medical emergencies driving the plot. I think it would've been a bit dull if I didn't marathon watch it in 3 days and the random pairing at the end was unnecessary; tacking on the love stories toward the conclusion of the drama just made things a bit messy for me--would've been fine to leave those out.
- Have a potluck on Wednesday--going to make these almond-topped chocolate pretzels for the first time. Wish me luck!
- Just bought more makeup today--couldn't resist the deals going on at Walgreens--especially the mascara! Can't ever have enough mascara, imo xD Probably going to have a giveaway once the buyer's remorse sets in T_T
So these are my favorites for the month of April! I didn't try too many new products that I liked but I did find a couple of old faves that I forgot about. Let me know down below what you enjoyed using last month down below! I'd love to find new products to try. :) Also, if you haven't entered my current giveaway (a total of 9 nail polishes!), head on over there and try your luck!
XOXO,
MWAH
