I'm a little late on this, but hey, better late than never \ (•◡•) /. I have tried other Baby Lips and loved them and so decided to get these too. I have three of them: Strike a Rose, Oh! Orange!, and Pink Shock (there are six total).

I am more of a low maintenance girl when it comes to my makeup because I never remember to reapply or touch up throughout the day (╥﹏╥). When it comes to lip products, tinted lip balms or lip stains are my favorite formulas to work with.
Strike a Rose is a neon pink in the tube, reminiscent of pink highlighters (but much more flattering). On my lips, it reads more of a light, my-lips-but-better pink. It does have a light scent that reminds me of Sweet Tarts. Once it is on my lips, I do not smell it anymore.
Oh! Orange is also a neon color but on my lips, it's more of a peachy pink. This one also has a light orange scent. Again, I do not detect any scent once applied.
Pink Shock is a magenta color in the tube. Of all the colors I have, this is the most accurate color swatched and on my lips. It is also the most pigmented out of the three. Pink Shock also has a scent similar to strawberries and raspberries in the tube but once on, no scent is discernible.
These lip balms are really versatile; you can dab them on gently for a sheer look or swipe on two-three layers for full opacity! That really surprised me since other tinted balms had sheer color payoff no matter how many layers I applied but these are so pigmented! Since they are so pigmented, there is slight transfer onto cups and straws and such but it was unnoticeable to me unless I really looked hard. These are great on-the-go products since I don't need a mirror to apply and they are sheer enough where if it goes outside my lip line a little, no one will notice!
They feel very moisturizing which is great for my dry lips; I can never get enough moisture for them (─‿‿─) . I'm not sure if it lasts up to the 8-hour claim but I can attest to the fact that my lips feel softer and not dry/cracked/peeling for a lot longer than when I use other lip balms. Maybe if I use it for two or more weeks, I'll see an even larger improvement in my lips!
Since they are so moisture-rich, they give my lips a slightly glossy finish. This is great if your lips aren't in the greatest condition (─‿‿─) However, Pink Shock will cling to the flakey parts of your lips, making it stand out more. You can just peel that part off though without it bleeding if you let the balm sink in a little (gross, I know, but just wanted to let you know!) I have applied this thickly before I go to sleep and when I get up 7-8 hours later, my lips aren't dry and they have a nice stained appearance (not pigmented but a nice soft wash of color). You can also achieve this step much quicker but blotting it with tissues after you've layered the balm a couple of times. It will also look like this as they day goes on and the glossy finish wears off.
Staying power is nice. After I eat, the color is gone but I still feel the moisture there. You can reapply after eating since it's almost foolproof.
You also get a lot of product 0.15 oz/4.4 g. I still haven't even used up my other Baby Lips in Quenched and I've had that for three months (ˆ▽ˆ)
I got them at CVS for $3.99 but I have seen them at ULTA, Walgreen's, and WalMart as well.
Check back tomorrow for the next post!
Bottom Line: I'd definitely recommend checking them out if you like tinted lip balms with versatility and no-fuss. If you're in school or working long shifts, they will be very useful indeed!
XOXO,
MWAH ♥
