I don't like washing my hair everyday because I feel that it strips my hair of its natural oils too much. My ends get really dry but my scalp gets oily so to compromise, I looked into dry shampoos. The
Batiste Dry Shampoo in Original is the first one I've tried from Batiste. I have tried two other brands, Sexy Hair and Tresemme but they didn't have what I was looking for; Sexy Hair gave me mega volume but made my hair stick together and look gross whereas the Tresemme did nothing for oil control and left a white cast that was hard to brush out. The Batiste gives me clean feeling and smelling hair but makes it look like freshly washed hair. The scent is reminiscent of lemon sherbert. It gives me slight volume but it's hard to build volume in my hair type. I am on my second bottle.
Bottom Line: I will definitely repurchase but in different scents. I'm interested in trying out the Blush, Lace and Paisley scents.
It's really important to use a base coat when you are painting your nails. Some colors can stain the nail and you do not want that! ( つ﹏╰)I love how the Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base and Top Coat can double up as a base coat and top coat. It also sries quickly so you don not have to wait long in between bast coat and color coats. It really does make your nail polish last longer and it creates a nice shiny top coat for three days. I find that I don't start chipping until the fourth day or so but it's not major; it mostly chips on the bottom but the top looks fine. I have already bought another one because I love it!
Bottom Line: I will be repurchasing!
The Eclos Anti-Aging Instant Radiance Facial Scrub* was very effective. It is a salt scrub (don't ask me how I know) that is plant-based. It didn't irritate my skin nor feel abrasive. It created a warming sensation as I gently rubbed it into my skin. It would dissolve into nothing the longer I rubbed. They recommend using it once every other day. I definitely noticed smoother, glowing skin after a couple of uses. I got a trial size from and am sad to see it go. It did last me a really long time though. It smelled a little of herbs which I didn't like but I got used to it eventually.
Bottom Line: I will be repurchasing the full size!
The Eclos Anti-Aging Facial Cleanser Skin Prep* is a gel-like formula. I used about a quarter-sized amount of product two times a day. I felt that it cleaned my face well but left me feeling a bit dry on my cheeks. Like the scrub, it also smelled like herbs. I'm not worried about wrinkles yet (still in my early 20s) but prevention is key!
Bottom Line: I'm conflicted with this product. I might buy the full size if it's convenient.
Last but not least, the Studio 35 Beauty Cotton Rounds are your typical cotton rounds. I used to use the ones from Target but I decided to try these out since it's more convenient for me to get these. I use them to apply toner, remove my eye makeup as well as my nail polish. They come in a pack of 80. They do come in a larger 240 ct one as well. I usually tear them in half to make them last longer since I go through them so quickly. I'm currently on my third or fourth pack. They are just so-so. I definitely prefer the Target ones but it's just so far from my house!
Bottom Line: I will be repurchasing but I much prefer the Target brand (Up & Up). Unfortunately, you have to get the Up & Up brand in stores.
