HAUL | Nail Polish and Makeup from Ulta ♥

So this was the last haul I'm doing for a long time. If you're new here (welcome!), I'm on a No-Buy Ban because my makeup and skincare collection has been getting out of control lately. To keep my wallet full and my drawers from overflowing, I'm going to revisit some products that I've forgotten about and shop my stash of products! Long story short, let's get into the haul!
NAIL POLISH AND MAKEUP from ulta

This is the item that started this whole haul in the first place. When I heard that Lorac was releasing a sequel to the famed Lorac Pro Palette, I was waiting for the exclusive online release on Ulta's website. I've had it for 2 weeks or so and while I haven't been using it every day like I did the original Lorac Pro Palette, I am starting to warm up to it. I'm not going to say too much since I'm going to do a separate post on the Lorac Pro Palette 2 but it has the same great quality as the original (for the shades I've tested so far).

I also picked up two colognes for my brothers. One of them graduated this year and turned 18 so I thought it would be a nice gift for those rushed mornings or dates he'll probably be going on. It felt unfair to buy a present for one and exclude the other so that's why I got two. My brother actually likes Adam Levine Sport Currently Fishing but I couldn't find it anywhere so I got him For Him Eau de Toilette Spray. Not sure what it smells like but hopefully he likes it. For the other, I wanted to get Ralph Lauren Polo Red Eau de Toilette but it was out of stock. I picked up Polo Blue because it's describe as casual, fresh, and elegant. While those aren't the exact words I'd use to describe my thoughtful brother, it was the one that fit him best.

With the cologne purchases and the Lorac Pro 2 Palette, I qualified for this HUGE goodie bag full of hair products, perfumes, skincare, and nail stuff. I haven't used anything from this bag because I have a ton of other things I want to finish first but the coral straw front purse is really cute! Too bad I don't really like to carry purses but I might just give this a go for summer!

My nail addiction is pretty big yet my mother insists on feeding it with more polishes. It's one of the things we love to talk about and she got me into nail art, which is why I have such a large collection for one person. Anyhoo, the following are the colors she picked up for me to try out (thanks Mom!)
essie under where nail polish
Essie's Under Where? is a pretty lilac color. This was a bit sheer compared to OPI and Sally Hansen but is standard with essie polishes I've encountered thus far.

essie in the cab-ana nail polish
Turquoise is my favorite color of all time and I can't get enough polishes in this shade. I thought Essie's In the Cab-ana** would be similar to Wet n Wild's I Need a Refreshment but it's less green and more blue. Turquoise and Caicos is the next color on my list :D

essie fashion playground nail polish
Essie's Fashion Playground** is a really pretty shade of seafoam green. There's silver sparkles in it that only show when the sun hits them. It was quite sheer and needed 3-4 coats for full opacity.

essie find me an oasis nail polish
At first, I thought Essie's Find me an Oasis** was white but I eventually figured it's a really pale, pale shade of Alice blue. Again, the sheerness of this polish required 4 coats for opacity. The silver sparkles made me think of ice glaciers floating in the Arctic.

So that's the couple of items I picked up these past few months. You'll be seeing a review of the Lorac Pro Palette 2 soon on Friday, I'm hoping, so stay tuned!

XOXO,
MWAH ♥
