Since I was at my parent's house for the break, I didn't have access to my usual products. I had a bunch of samples that I was accumulating at home so I decided to look in that stash for a solution. Long story short, The Face Shop The Smim 3D Radiating Moisturizing Solution Ampoule* (super long name) was something that I was hoping would help.

The Face Shop The Smim 3D Radiating Moisturizing Solution Ampoule is a hydrating and radiance boosting skin care product that contains pink tone radiance powders that delivers instant radiance. Ampoules are similar to serums in that they are packed with active skin beneficial ingredients but they are usually target a particular skin concern; the consistency is usually thicker, like a gel or oil type rather than a watery one. All skin types can use this but it's recommended for normal skin.
Application
According to the Face Shop website, you pump it 1-2 times into your palm. This goes before essence if you follow a Korean skincare routine. I like to rub the product between my palms to warm up the product to help it spread and sink in my skin. Then I pat my face gently to help the product absorb better.Likes
The pink radiance powder really did brighten my face. It didn't really last once I woke up but my skin was softer and not as dry. I'm not really sure if it was due to this product or something else but at least it didn't dry me out.Dislikes
Let me tell you now, this product was not good for my skin! I don't have sensitive skin at all but this just caused me to break out in a bumpy and itchy rash (hives?). Luckily, that went away after a day or two but I definitely threw away the rest after having a bad reaction to the product. The first night I used it, I did feel some itchy-ness, but it went away. The next morning, my skin didn't seem worse for wear so I wore it again the next night but this time, I wore just the ampoule. Oh my goodness, my skin burned and itched like crazy a couple minutes after application. I immediately ran to the bathroom to wash it off. My skin was super bumpy, especially on my forehead where I applied it the most (my forehead was the driest at the time).Bottom Line
I would not recommend this. As always, different products work for different people but I don't have sensitive skin yet this aggravated my skin so much. This is the only product I've ever had a reaction to so I would recommend you to look for something else, especially since there are so many ampoules to choose from in the market.MWAH Musings ♥
