Happy Monday everyone! The Monday blues are nowhere to be seen here and with the sunshine, I feel so uplifted. I've been hoarding these empties for a while now so to justify my pack-rat tendencies, let's write about them! This was a slow month for me but I did finish a few full-sized items.

BLOGMAS | Day 1: October & November Empties 2016

Heeeey all! It's been awhile since I last posted but I was going through finals. I've never studied so hard before in my life, haha. Now that those are out of the way, I can finally put all my ideas down and into the blog! Starting off with my October and November empties, I wanted to share this before it adds up. I've even finished some makeup products, which is always exciting. So let's talk about which ones I'd repurchase and which ones I'm glad are gone.

EMPTIES | August 2016

 August was a productive month for me as I finally tackled my collection. I went through every item, tossing the bad stuff and organizing the pretties that was still useable. I've been documenting my progress through my Destashing Project, so click on the link to see what makeup I'm keeping and which I'm saying goodbye to. I didn't finish every item in here but most of them have gone bad so I want to clear them out. So without further ado, let's get into the products!

HAUL | Collective ULTA + Sephora Birthday Haul

So it's been several months since I've posted on this blog. I'm sorry about the prolonged absence but real life has been draining my energy, leaving me with none for blogging. It's a little awkward getting back into it; I've actually been very nervous about posting again in such a long time. Anyone else feel me on that?

Anyhoo, I've bought all these things last year around November and most of it's just been sitting here, waiting for me to crack it open and use it. I'm embarrassed to say that most of it hasn't been tested at all and still sits in its original packaging. However, I will give updates when I do get around to testing everything.

REVIEW | The Body Shop Seaweed Starter Kit

I first got this set a year and a half ago. My skin was going mental and I decided to take a chance on a "natural" brand, whatever that means. Fresh, ocean-y scents are my favorite so the Body Shop Seaweed Starter Kit seemed like a good place to start.

It's a bit late but a good Spring cleaning was in order. I used up 14 products, which is a great accomplishment! Some products I'm sad to see go, others...not so much. There's quite a disappointing one but you'll have to keep reading to find out! Starting off with makeup since this is a makeup blog after all ;)

FAVORITES | February 2015 ♥

Wahhh can't believe it's the end of February already! I know it's a shorter month than usual but those 2-3 days seem to make a huge difference. February was quite an eventful month for me so my makeup life suffered a bit. Haven't posted a Favorites in months so I'm glad to share some items I've been loving. I've finally found a body butter that I love so let's get on with it.

I didn't post an August empties so I decided to combine two months' worth of empty products. There's a lot of items to go through so I'll cut to the chase now! I mis-numbered the items so I actually have 16 products, not 17 but just ignore that little flub ^_^

REVIEW┊The Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion SPF 15

Hey everyone!  I've switched out my daily moisturizer and so I've been looking for one that helps me control my oil. The Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion SPF 15 for Combination/Oily Skin is designed as an all-in-one oil-balance, moisturization, and UVA/UVB protection, perfect for rushed mornings.

Ignore the top...I cut off the top so I could scrape out the rest of the product. xD
There was a good week and a half's left in there!

As you all know, I have normal to combination skin. My t-zone gets pretty oily but my cheeks and forehead remain normal. What I'm looking for is a lightweight moisturizer that doesn't give me an oily appearance. Sun protection is a must and if it's unscented, that's a huge bonus. So does this Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion deliver?
