I've been loving to do FOTD posts as it lets me experiment and play with more of my makeup stash. I revisited several items that I've reviewed previously as well as introduced some new items that I will review soon! I can't claim credit for coming up with the idea. I actually watched a video by LaMuqe on Youtube where she demonstrates her look using makeup in a stick form. Watch it for another take on this fun challenge. :D
- I started with the Missha M Flawless Stick Foundation (review) in #23. This was too light for me so I cheated a bit and added a mixture of Smashbox Photo Finish Primer in Blemish Control + Cover FX Custom Cover Drops to get my right shade. To cover under eye darkness, I used Benefit Fake Up Concealer in 02 Medium. I skipped powder since I didn't have a powder in a stick form.
- For my lid, I used Boots Stay Perfect Shade & Define (review) in Cool Mink. I then applied Tarte Waterproof Shadow Stick (review) in Smoky Topaz in the crease, blending with my finger. To brighten my eyes, I lined my lower lash line with the NYX Infinite Shadow Stick (review) in Silk.
- To finish off the eyes, I applied the Ladykin At the Party Long & Perm Mascara (review). I also lined my eyes with the Holika Holika Jewel Light Waterproof Eyeliner (review) in Olive Peridot.
- For my cheeks, I used the Tarte Cheek Stain (review) in Flush for a soft pink cheek. Eyebrows remain the same: Etude House Drawing Eyebrow in 01 Dark Brown. I wanted my lips to be the star of the show so I went for a bold pink in the form of the Bobbi Brown Art Stick (review) in Electric Pink.
