HAUL| CC Creams, Lipgloss, and More! (and Mini-Reviews) :)

Hey everyone! sorry that this blog post is a day late but better late than never as I always say! I have another haul for you all--and a couple more items I picked up since then. I got these things in September but haven't had a chance to show them to y'all until now.

Vincent Longo Perfect Shine Lip Gloss in Venezia Red and Cherros

I've never been a big fan of lip gloss really but I decided to give these a try since my lips have been getting more chapped from the cold weather. These Vincent Longo Perfect Shine Lip Glosses are a first for me since I've never heard of the brand or heard of any mentions by other bloggers. These glosses claim to/be:

Long-wearing full-body formula with “perfect shine” looks canera-ready all day• Moisturizes while beautifying for silky-smooth comfort without waxy feel
• Lip plumper hydrates surface tissue and volumizes fine lines for fuller-looking lips

I got these in Venezia Red^ and Cherros^. Venezia Red is a nice burgundy red with silver shimmers that is nice for the holidays. The shimmers aren't gritty feeling and add a nice sheen to the lips. Cherros is a neon cherry color that sadly, does not translate onto the lips; it just adds a sheer cherry tint on my lips. Both of these glosses are very sheer and are great for topping off other lip colors or if you just want a hint of color. These glosses have a vanilla scent which I'm not too fond off, but they do not linger on my lips. They are not sticky but are very long lasting. They are on the expensive side at $22 a pop but I can definitely feel the quality. They don't make my lips sting or burn, which is great since I have sensitive lips.  I'd definitely like to try their darker colors, like Costa Fiore^. There's only 4 listed on their website, vincentlongo.com, but I found more colors on Amazon^. I have review of these two right here on the blog.

I also picked up two FusionBeauty LipFusion Infatuation Liquid Shine Multi-Action Lip Fatteners in Screen Siren^ and Full Frontal^. Pucker Up^ was in a sample bag I received from Ulta and I fell in love with the color and formula. Pucker Up is a cool-toned mauve-y pink, matching my natural lip color very well. Screen Siren is a bold, fire-engine red and Full Frontal is a pretty pink. These Lip Fatteners are very pigmented--a little goes a long way with these. They do have a scent that is reminiscent of grapefruits or citrus fruits. The Lip Fatteners do have a tingly feeling when you first apply them but I don't really see my lips getting noticeably bigger. It might be the kind of thing that develops over time? Nevertheless, I really like them and will continue to use. You can find them here as well. Again, these are on the pricer side at $29 a tube but Amazon has them for a lot cheaper (for certain colors).

theBalm Instain blush in Swiss Dot (L), Toile(M), and Houndstooth (R)
theBalm Instain blush in Swiss Dot (L), Toile(M), and Houndstooth (R)
I first heard about theBalm Instain Blushes from EmilyNoel83 on Youtube and when they were having a 50% off sale, I couldn't resist. They come in a total of 6 shades. I picked up the three colors I liked the most (might go back and pick up Argyle). The shades I picked have a very subtle sheen to them but they are not exactly glittery or shimmery. They look pretty matte once applied but give a very healthy look to your cheeks. Swiss Dot is a warm peachy color. Toile is a warm strawberry pink shade. Houndstooth is a pretty mauve. These are highly pigmented colors that leave behind a stain, even though they are powder products. I lightly tap my brush in once, very delicately, and then swipe it across my cheeks. A downside is that since they are so pigmented, they are harder to blend out, especially if you make a mistake. If you can get past that, I highly recommend them.  You can find them here.

There's been a CC cream craze lately and I caved in, picking up two of the most interesting looking ones to me. I got The Face Shop FACE it Aura CC Cream  (SPF30/PA++) in #2 Natural Beige and TONYMOLY Aqua Aura CC Cooling Cushion (SPF50+/PA+++) in #2 Aqua Beige.

The Face Shop FACE it Aura CC Cream is a lifesaver in the colder and drier weather. I got it in #2 Natural Beige, which is a tad too light for me but it doesn't look unnatural. It only comes in two shades though so it's very limited. I found mine here^, but I'm sure you can find it on other sites as well. A detailed review can be found here

This was a popular CC Cream in the summer (so late in getting this--wrong season!) but I'm a sucker for gimmicky things. I got mine in shade #2 Aqua Beige^. This CC cream only comes in two shades, which is typical for Korean CC Creams, which is annoying. I haven't tried this on out yet but I'll be sure to let y'all know my thoughts on this product as soon as I can! *Update 12/31/13*: Review on the TonyMoly Aqua Aura CC Cooling Cushion is now here!

So that's all for this post! I hope you found it informative and if you have any questions about anything in this post, please don't hesitate to ask me down below! Until next time! (✿◠‿◠)
