Below is a comparison between all the of the blushes that I've received in this set: Pink, Peach, and Rose. Pink and Peach looked very similar but Peach has more sparkle and is more pigmented. Out of the 3, Peach has the best pigmentation with Pink feeling the most dry and chalky.

⇥ OTHER THOUGHTS ⇤

Foundation +Primer: If you've read my previous post, you'll know how I feel about the foundation and the primer. Nothing has changed and they're just sitting there. I might give them another try when the weather gets colder and my face dries out. Right now, I'm still an oil slick so we'll see.

Blush: The blush is my favorite out of all the colors released. At first glance, it looks very similar to the others previously released but this one has a noticeable pink flush. I'm worried about the padded packaging but it seems sturdy enough. It doesn't really look much like a bronzer on my skin tone but it dos add a nice warmth to the blush. At this moment, the blush is only available on QVC, if I'm not mistaken. However, Rose Bronze doesn't seem to be available yet. Sephora has Pink Bronze but none of the others. The QVC ones have a brush for $2 USD extra.

Eye Primer: It's decent. It evens out my eyelids and covers the veins. Texture is firm but it glides well and is easy to blend. It makes eyeshadows easier to blend out. However, I see creasing and minor color wear at hour 5. At the 9th hour mark, I see major creasing and my eyeshadow is basically gone. I don't think this makes eyeshadows last the full 12 hours or anything miraculous. The cap is also a bit hard to pull off but at least the product inside is secure. I would skip out on this, especially considering the $21 USD price tag.

Eyeliner: The eyeliner is a favorite of mine now. Purple liner gives the definition that black does without the harshness. This one has decent staying power on my top lid--it doesn't smudge or leave a weird line on my crease #HoodedEyeProblems. It's practically nonexistent after 7-9 hours but at least it doesn't bunch in my inner corner or smear to the bottom lid. This eyeliner doesn't irritate my eyes, a huge factor in deciding what can go on my very sensitive eyes. It's creamy enough to glide over my lids but firm enough not to be a smeary mess. It doesn't have good staying power in the upper tightline--it smudge onto my lower lash line after ~4 hours of wear.

Mascara: The mascara is a stand out to me! I had tried it out a couple of times before writing the previous post and found it lackluster. However, it's giving my Lancome Hypnose a run for its money! It lengthens and thickens my lashes with just a couple of swipes. This definitely volumizes my lashes much more than the Lancome. I found it too much at first but as I started doing smokier eye makeup, I appreciated the darkness and volume and everything. I don't think I can go back to drugstore after finding this little gem. I heard L'Oreal Telescopic gives pretty good lengthening so I might give that one a try. I love this mascara so much that I've hoarded a few tubes of this and given away all my other ones. It's quite hard to find a mascara that gives good volume without clumping everything together. My lashes are still separated enough but if I get too carried away, they do start clumping. Definitely tied in my beauty heart with Lancome.

Lipgloss: If you've followed my blog for an extended amount of time, you'll know that I dislike lip gloss. I used to wear lip stains exclusively until last year, when I ventured into lipsticks. I still only like matte lipstick and some satin finish ones. This year, I expanded my horizons into lip gloss and while they aren't my top choice for every day, the colder weather brings dry lips that call out for hydrating products. When my lips are peeling and I don't have time to properly exfoliate them, I like to layer lip gloss over to cover the mess. This one in Blushing Bride isn't very pigmented but it adds a nice pink flush to my dead looking lips. It is slightly tacky but not overly so. The color wears off after two hours but the moisture is still there. Blushing Bride doesn't have any shimmers in it, which is much appreciated. Not a bad lip gloss but there are others that are pigmented and cost a fraction of the price.

⇥ BOTTOM LINE ⇤

Overall, this set is a good value. I forgot how much I paid but it was definitely under $70usd for sure. I liked that I got to try out a lof of new products--I even found a new mascara and eyeliner to obsess over. The other items are nice but not something I would run out to repurchase. I love Tarte products and they always have such nice value sets, especially around the holidays. The huge makeup bag that it comes with comes in handy when I'm packing my skincare items and makeup products for travelling; now I have three large bags to cram full of stuff!
