EMPTIES | December 2013: Part 1 (Skincare Edition)

So it's time for another empties! I've been trying to use up some of my products to make room for some new ones. These are a combination of skincare products and some makeup products that I've used up!

I got a sample bag from Sephora last year and some of these products were really awesome! I haven't used the Algenist Alguronic Acid yet.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS| ★ Etude House AC Clinic Intense Trial Kit ★

I heard Sunnydahye from Youtube rave about the Etude House AC Clinic Pink Spot so I had to give it a try! Since I didn't want to commit to a full-sized product, I thought the AC Clinic Intense Trial Kit was perfect to test out the Pink Spot as well as other products. This kit comes with a AC Clinic Daily Acne Foam Cleanser, AC Clinic Daily Toner, AC Clinic Daily Gel Lotion, AC Clinic Pink Powder Water, and AC Clinic Pink Powder Spot. The entire line contains salicylic acid, Hinoki Cypress extract, Chaga Mushroom extract, and Saururus Chinensis extract to clarify and soothe troubled skin. I have updated this post since I have used up the cleanser, toner, and pink powder spot so read on to find out my final thoughts!

My skin has breaking out a lot more than usual lately. I've been wanting to change up my skincare routine for a while now because it didn't seem to be doing much for me anymore. REVIEW| Skincare LdeL Cosmetics Retinol Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Day and Night Creams

Hey everyone! Today, I'm going to review Skincare LdeL Cosmetics Retinol Day Broad Spectrum SPF 20 and Night Creams for y'all.

I have never really used creams for my skin because it is on the oilier side and doesn't need the extra moisture. However, my skin reacted badly to a scrub that I had bee using, becoming red, sensitive to the touch, and really dry. In a panic,  I went onto Ulta's website and found these creams for day and night. I've been using these for almost a year now and have not looked back :D

I don't know about y'all, but I have been breaking out more than usual due to the weather change. My skin freaks out every time the seasons transition from summer to fall. It probably doesn't help that I also moved into a more humid climate recently. In order to combat these face demons (grav3yardgirl reference), I've been using a lot of acne spot treatments!

Today's post is all about the Face Shop FACE it Aura CC Cream! Everyone and their mother has tried this out and I've only seen good reviews on it so I decided to follow the bandwagon. I was a bit hesitant at first to try CC creams because I do have a few problem spots that need covering up and I felt like BB cream is just a better fit for my skin needs. REVIEW| Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquers ♡

 So today, I'm going to review Rimmel's Show Off Lip Lacquers (or Apocalips as they're known in Europe). These are some of the best lip products in my opinion! They are pigmented and long-lasting and come at a budget-friendly price, which is a plus in my book! I have six out of the fourteen available shades here in the U.S. They come in a variety of finishes from cream to glitter. These Lip Lacquers also come in a range of shades and undertones, from nudes and pinks to deeper mauves and reds--you'll definitely find your shade!
